McKinney Vento - Homeless Convention

Provide professional development for the educators that work directly with our homeless students and families. Often these educators are seeking to better understand the strategies that can assist our families that or facing trauma of being homeless. The professionals attending will have opportunity to gain insight into the trauma-response and resilience skills. Having those conversations with students and families will help them to be more effective. Additionally, they will have access to community resources to establish partnerships to better serve their students.
