This workshop will immerse you in the best practices of 3-Dimensional science instruction. Under the guidance of Paul Andersen, you’ll explore key methods like modeling instruction, argument-driven inquiry, and phenomenon-based instruction, as well as the Science and Engineering Practices. Grounded in the K-12 Science Framework that informs the new Science TEKS, the workshop places special emphasis on Recurring Themes and Concepts, serving as both a thematic and practical lens to drive scientific inquiry. You'll engage in hands-on scientific inquiry, supported by authentic assessments and best practices. Come and experience this form of 3-dimensional instruction with Paul Andersen as your guide. Explore the wonders of science as you rediscover the curiosity that guided your childhood. Teachers, come prepared to do science!
