All About The Thinking




The TEKS Resource System provides all viable curricular and assessment components. The curriculum of the TEKS Resource System aligns with state-adopted standards, including content connections, formative and summative assessment items, and support resources.


Important Session Information:


A thinking student is an engaged student.  Teachers often find it difficult to implement lessons that help students go beyond rote memorization and repetitive calculations. During this session, participants will experience  a variety of engaging activities that encourage students to think deeply,  dive into the wealth of rich mathematical tasks provided by TEKS Resource System and gain insights into Peter Liljedahl’s innovative approach to teaching mathematics through Building Thinking Classrooms.
