The Power of Pre-K for Administrators: Pre-K Guidelines for Administrators 101
Understanding the ins and outs of the prekindergarten classroom can be challenging for some administrators. The Prekindergarten Guidelines are an incredible tool to start understanding the developmentally appropriate activities that should be occurring in the classroom in order to prepare our young learners for Kindergarten and beyond.
In this ½ half day session, administrators will explore the 10 Domains in the updated 2022 Pre-K Guidelines.
The vertical alignment of the Pre-K Guidelines and the Kindergarten through second grade TEKS will also be explored.
This session is open to Principals, Assistant Principals, Coordinators, Specialists, Coaches and other Elementary School Supervisors and Administrative Personnel.
Participants will need to bring their laptops with them to this session.
