New to Head Start Summer 2024 Professional Development

Format: On-site, In-person, Face-to Face 

Who: Teachers, instructional assistants, and floaters who are new to Region 10 Head Start programs.

Whether you are newly hired or joined Head Start in the last year or two and haven’t had a chance to participate in “New to Head Start” training, we welcome you this summer as we embark on a journey towards excellence in early childhood education. Discover the keys to success in fostering developmentally appropriate learning, promoting health and nutrition, ensuring safety, and implementing research-backed teaching and social-emotional strategies.

For new staff, this training is essential. It equips you with the knowledge and tools to seamlessly integrate best practices and uphold compliance with Head Start Program Standards.
