Identifying and Reporting Sexual Abuse, Human Trafficking, and Other Maltreatment of Children
Winter School Board Training - via Zoom




Target Audience:  School Board Trustees

As a result of the passing of HB 403, school board members are now required to receive one hour of training every two years on identifying and reporting Sexual Abuse, Human Trafficking, and Other Maltreatment of Children.  This training is offered to board members of Region 10 schools as part of the administrative service package and in conjunction with the Dallas County Child Advocacy Center.  In this training, board member will gain information about best practices for identifying, legal requirements for reporting, and resources for assisting victims.

This training is free for Region 10 Districts that have purchased the Administrative Service Package, for all other participants a $50 registration fee applies.

The Region 10 ESC has partnered with the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center to provide this training.  Board members attending this training will gain information about identifying and reporting sexual abuse, human trafficking, and other maltreatment of children.
