Transition Fair for Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing




Region 10 & 11 ESC school districts will explore various options of education and employment after high school. Representatives from area educational institutions, prospective employers and vendors will be in attendance.

Important Session Information:


This event is designed for high school juniors and seniors who are deaf/hard of hearing (D/HH)

This event will provide helpful resources as they explore and make important decisions, investigate options, and prepare to maneuver life after high school. Participants will learn about college and technical schools, independent living, personal finances, self-advocacy, community resources, and assistive technology specific to the D/HH population.

This event is free for high school students in Region 10 and Region 11 areas, their parents, guardians, and professionals working with D/HH students.

Please make plans to bring sign language interpreters from your RDSPD.
Personal interpreters may be needed during the mock interviews and as students visit with event exhibitors.
