Addressing the Legal Needs of Students Experiencing Homelessness




Legal updates on homelessness issues presented by respected presenters in the field. Session will cover a variety of topics based on specific audience.

Important Session Information:


This virtual session will include a presentation from Schoolhouse Connection covering the legal rights of children and unaccompanied youth experiencing homelessness, funding options (Title I, Part-A, McKinney-Vento Subgrants, Community grants, etc.) available to LEAs and charters to service the needs of children and youth identifying as homeless. The session will also include panel discussion featuring former homeless students.  All are invited to learn.
