Distance Teaching Techniques and Strategies to Use with Students with Cortical Visual Impairment (CVI)

This, "Zoom" training is designed for Region 10 VI professionals (TVI and COMS), during this 2020-2021 School Year, many teachers are increasingly finding that they will be teaching their students from a distant location, often through Google Classroom, FaceTime or Zoom.  During this Training, participants will learn how to improve their distance teaching techniques, how to make their lessons more meaningful and how to connect their remote learning experiences to home life for the student with CVI.  Specifically, this Zoom Training will focus on how to choose a platform, identify a learning goal, create a succinct lesson, extend and apply what was taught, provide feedback and finally, how to keep the focus on learning!
