This Teaching & Learning professional learning opportunity will provide content, material, and strategies to assist educators in meeting the needs of students in their district.

Important Session Information:

Artful Thinking is a practice developed by Harvard Project Zero that promotes critical thinking in the classroom by facilitating learner-centered conversations. This session is open to teachers of all disciplines who have previously taken the prerequisite course, Intro to Artful Thinking, with museum educator Carolyn Armbruster. Learning outcomes include: reviewing the foundations of the Artful Thinking practice, discovering tips to engage students in class discussion, experimenting with new thinking routines, learning from others’ successes and challenges when implementing the routines and brainstorming how to implement Artful Thinking in a school. Presenters: Carolyn Armbruster and Meredith Clark.
