Core Selective Process (C-SEP) A PSW model approach to evaluating for SLD
Presenter: Dr. Ed Schultz
This two day training will focus on the use of the Core-Selective Evaluation Process
(C-SEP) model to establish SLD as defined by a pattern of strengths and weakness approach. C-SEP focuses on an efficient and focused data-driven professional judgment process rooted in contemporary Cattell-Horn-Carroll (CHC) theory (Shrank, Stephens-Pisecco, & Schultz, 2017), integrated with current policy. C-SEP has been identified as an emerging practice in Texas.
