Kensington is having a group study on mobile device security, protection, charging and storage. They use an informal program of trading samples for advice to build better products.
The group will look at the view of school technologists, teachers/students, and administrators regarding these important issues, and devise ideas and methods for implementing these ideas. The minimal workload will be defined by a quarterly kickoff of products to be sent and evaluated, a larger sample size (instead of one or two, we’ll provide enough samples to outfit an entire lab or classroom if desired), monthly emails to understand results, a quarterly conference call, and a once every year focus group meeting offsite.
In a perfect world, we would like to have a teacher, technology director, and administrative representative from 4-5 area districts involved. David Peterson from Kensington is the facilitator of this event.
