This event is designed to provide ISD school board trustees with the opportunity to gain valuable training that will help them be more effective in their role. Existing board members, newly elected board members, and board presidents will have the chance to engage in conversations about their duties and responsibilities, both individually and as a board collectively. There will be sessions offered that meet required training elements and other sessions that will count toward the additional hours trustees are required to gain each year.
Additionally, sessions will be provided for executive secretaries who work with school boards. These sessions will help secretaries with their school board operations, requirements, and interactions with board members.
