Getting Ready to Read: Growing Readers in Pre-K

Literacy development starts early in life and is highly correlated with school achievement. Early literacy skills are the roots of reading success. Join us for this session to learn how to plant the seed in Pre-K. Research-based strategies for early reading instruction will be discussed, demonstrated, and applied to the needs of emergent readers and classroom instruction. Participants will leave with literacy-rich activities and resources to help their emergent readers blossom in Pre-K and beyond.
