Little People can Write: Developing Motor Skills

A child’s journey from intentional marks on paper to purposefully written expression is a long cycle with many twists and turns. Building motor skills gives the crucial foundation to develop young writers. This is an interactive session designed to give educators the tools to engage young writers and to strengthen gross and fine motor skills needed for writing. Specific strategies for differentiating the needs of diverse learners, including struggling students, will be included.
