Facing the Daily Challenges




The foundation of early childhood skills will provide students the tools they need to be successful.This session will help you face those challenging behaviors on a daily basis with a fresh perspective while collecting and allowing data to drive the need for additional supports. Through hands on experiences you will develop strategies that will provide you with the skills to manage challenging behaviors with minimal disruption to the learning environment. Know that you will walk away feeling confident in how to cultivate collaborative relationships with parents so as to create routine and structure in the home environment to support the classroom setting.

Important Session Information:


HAVING EARLY CHILDHOOD SKILLS is very important because it provides students with the tools they need to be successful. On any given day; however, you will be faced with disruptive, challenging behaviors. This session will help you learn how to face these behaviors with a fresh perspective while collecting and assessing data to determine the need for additional supports. Through hands on experiences you will develop skills to manage challenging behaviors with minimal disruption to the learning environment. Moreover, you will learn how to cultivate collaborative relationships with parents so you can help them create routines and structure in the
home environment that will work in connection with your classroom setting.

REGISTRATION NOTE:  Registration is free for members of the Early Childhood Services and Prekindergarten Cooperative, Region 10 PPCD, and Region 10 EHS.HS Grantees.  DISCOUNTS WILL BE REFLECTED AFTER REGISTRATION.
