SLP Supervision and Ethics Webinar- More Than a Mentor: Foundations of Effective Supervision and Professional Integrity in Speech-Language Pathology




This session will provide required supervision competencies needed to effectively guide and support student clinicians, clinical fellows, and SLP-Assistants. Participants will explore the foundational elements of clinical education, interpersonal communication, critical thinking, and professional practice in supervision. Participants will learn ways to build a supportive, collaborative learning environment through adult learning principles and guide supervisees toward independent problem-solving and professional development. Additionally, participants will examine the ethical responsibilities inherent in the supervisory role, including maintaining professional boundaries, upholding standards of clinical competence, navigating ethical dilemmas, and fostering a culture of integrity and accountability within the supervisory relationship.

There are two price tiers for this event 1. Region 10 public local education agencies receive free registration. 2. Out of Region and/or Private/Non-Profit entities pay $125.00.
