Mentor Teacher Training
Make-up Session: Pathway 2 Design Session 2




Mentor teachers will build their knowledge and skills to effectively support and coach novice teachers through a series of training sessions. Participants will learn best mentoring practices and ways to strategically implement these practices to support the growth and development of novice teachers.  Characteristics of adult learners, typical experiences of novice teachers, and intentional mentor action steps will be examined and practiced for ease of application.


Important Session Information:


 Pathway 2 supports district- and campus-level leaders in designing, implementing, and sustaining a PREP-aligned mentorship system that ensures program fidelity, compliance, and impact. This pathway emphasizes systems, structures, and leadership actions that support effective mentor implementation.
