Draw the (Number) Line: Designing Math for All Learners




In this session, educators explore how number lines can deepen students’ understanding of magnitude, estimation, and flexible thinking. Participants will engage with tools like number paths and open number lines while applying Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles to plan for access and respond to student needs. Through hands-on tasks and analysis of prerequisite skills, teachers will learn how to make thinking visible and support all learners in developing strong number sense.
