Kick off your district’s Teacher Incentive Allotment journey with a strong foundation for success. In this first new application planning session, district teams will explore the essential components of a high-quality local designation system and build a shared understanding of what is required for a successful new application. Participants will clarify the purpose behind their district’s TIA work, identify the “why” that will guide planning and stakeholder buy-in, and begin mapping out the yearlong planning process leading to the April 2027 application deadline. By the end of this session, district teams will be able to: Articulate TIA requirements and key system design components Formulate and communicate their district’s purpose for pursuing TIA Understand the application-year planning process, including pacing tools and stakeholder engagement expectations This session is designed to ensure every district leaves with a clear starting point, a shared vision, and concrete next steps for launching the planning process.
