During this training day, we will go through 3 courses developed by the Texas Sped Support. These courses align with the Texas Sped Support Rubric of Effective Practices for Students with Significant Cognitive Disabilities and addresses strategies applicable to one or more of the Rubric of Effective Practices Indicators. This training was created to support a standard of high-quality instruction for students with significant cognitive disabilities and to have educators consider what adaptations may be necessary to support students with significant cognitive disabilities accessing the curriculum and educational environment. This session will go through 3 of the Rubric of Effective Practices courses. Zoom sessions will be held on August 21st and September 4th to cover the 2 remaining courses in this series.

2. Out of Region and/or Private/Non-Profit entities pay $175.
