Targeting TSIA2
TEKS Alignments, Learning Resources, & Goal Setting

Advanced Academics includes courses, programs, assessments, services, and supports that provide opportunities for students to demonstrate college readiness. The TSI Assessment (TSIA) is the result of the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) mandated by the Texas State Legislature.  The assessment is designed to guide Texas public institutions of higher education in determining whether students are ready for entry-level college coursework in ELAR and mathematics.

Important Session Information:

Let's take a proactive approach to CCMR! The Texas Success Initiative Assessment (TSIA) is one path toward a student’s college readiness, and many of the tested targets on the currently administered TSIA2 can be addressed through classroom instruction before a student ever enters high school! Participants will explore a comprehensive TEKS alignment to target all TSIA2 content. Participants will also explore TSIA2 learning resources and set goals to improve all students' college readiness through intentional classroom instruction.
