College Board
Designing for CCMR Success: Leveraging the SAT Suite for Districtwide Impact

This professional learning opportunity will feature College Board, a mission-driven not-for-profit organization that connects students to college success and opportunity.

Important Session Information:

This full-day session is designed for individuals or teams—including Advanced Academics leaders and Math and English curriculum staff—who are committed to strengthening College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) outcomes. As Texas accountability evolves, districts must take a proactive, system-level approach to ensure students are on track for college readiness.

Participants will begin by examining upcoming shifts in CCMR expectations and the implications for long-term district planning. The session will then transition into collaborative, hands-on work focused on aligning curriculum, instruction, and assessment practices to these evolving demands.

Using the SAT Suite of Assessments, participants will explore the Skills Insight tool and Knowledge and Skills Report to identify strengths, gaps, and opportunities for growth. Guided work time will allow participants to analyze their own data, reflect on current curriculum alignment, and begin building actionable plans to improve student performance and readiness.

Throughout the day, participants will engage with practical tools and strategies that support measurable gains in college readiness. Participants are encouraged to bring curriculum materials to maximize the impact of collaborative planning and ensure clear next steps for implementation.

This session is being presented by College Board and is free to all Texas educators.
