Recognizing Warning Signs of Suicide
Presenter: Shuniqua Ortiz, BHPP Liaison Region 10 ESC Clinician


This 1-hour session will focus on helping school staff identify the warning signs of suicide in students and understand the risk factors that may increase the likelihood of suicidal behavior. Participants will learn to recognize both verbal and non-verbal cues, as well as behaviors that may indicate a student is at risk. The training aims to provide staff with the knowledge and confidence to intervene early and connect students with the appropriate support and resources.

1. Region 10 public local education agencies receive free registration

2. Out of Region and/or Private/Non-Profit entities pay $125.00
