During this training day, we will go through the 5 courses developed by the Texas Sped Support. These courses align with the Texas Sped Support Rubric of Effective Practices for Students with Significant Cognitive Disabilities and addresses strategies applicable to one or more of the Rubric of Effective Practices Indicators. This training was created to support a standard of high-quality instruction for students with significant cognitive disabilities and to have educators consider what adaptations may be necessary to support students with significant cognitive disabilities accessing the curriculum and educational environment. This session will go through all 5 of the Rubric of Effective Practices courses.

1. Region 10 public local education agencies receive free registration.
2. Out of Region and/or Private/Non-Profit entities pay $175.
