What happens when two powerful approaches to teaching and learning come together? In this session, we’ll explore the alignment between Building Thinking Classrooms and secondary math Bluebonnet Learning, noticing how their shared philosophies foster deep thinking, collaboration, and student ownership of learning. Educators will examine where the practices overlap, when each framework offers unique opportunities, and how tasks can be intentionally selected to support both models. Participants will engage in classroom-ready experiences that highlight the power of purposeful tasks, then reflect on how these can be leveraged to cultivate curiosity, perseverance, and joy in mathematics.
