Stronger Minds, Safer Schools: A Trainer-of-Trainers Model for HB 3 Compliance

This interactive trainer-of-trainers session is designed to equip district personnel with the knowledge, skills, and materials necessary to train their LEA staff in recognizing and supporting students with mental health and substance use issues. Aligned with HB 3 legal requirements, this training provides an evidence-based framework to identify, respond to, and support students whose mental health challenges may pose a risk to school safety.

At the end of this session, participants will leave with ready-to-use materials, facilitator guides, and training resources to implement staff development sessions within their districts, ensuring all school personnel are prepared to promote safer, more supportive school environments.

There are two price tiers for this event:

1. Region 10 public local education agencies receive free registration

2. Out of Region and/or Private/Non-Profit entities pay $175.00
