This information meeting is specifically for individuals interested in pursuing their master’s degree in speech-language pathology. Registrants will learn general information as well as detailed specific criteria required for the application process. The SLP Distance Venue’s purpose is to decrease the shortages of SLP's in the public schools, therefore, participants attending this informational meeting must understand that this particular program's focus is to ameliorate the shortages of SLPs in the schools of Texas. Attendees interested in seeking post-baccalaureate certificates in Bilingual SLP and Deaf and Hard of Hearing for SLPs, in addition to their master's degree will have an opportunity to learn more about these certificate requirements.
Pursuing a master's degree in speech-language pathology requires individuals who do not already have a bachelor's degree in the field to take "Leveling" course work. This information will also be discussed in detail.
NOTE: if you choose to attend an Information Meeting after February 2026, you may not enough time to complete all Leveling course work required.
