Child Nutrition Programs (NSLP)

The Child Nutrition Program provides technical assistance, training and resources to school districts in order to promote effective management of the federal funded nutrition programs. This is in accordance with United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) regulations.


Important Session Information:


This course will assist child nutrition and business official staff to understand the correlation between Texas Education Agency (TEA) financial account code structure and annual financial reporting requirements for TDA & USDA. Participants will gain knowledge on budgeting, forecasting, coding, and how to use the accounting information for program compliance and reporting.

Please Note: Course credit is only given to attendees who are present for a minimum of 85% of the course training.
