Child Nutrition Programs (NSLP)
Local Wellness Policy




The Child Nutrition Program provides technical assistance, training and resources to school districts in order to promote effective management of the federal funded nutrition programs. This is in accordance with United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) regulations.


Important Session Information:


**For best results, participants need to bring their school/district’s LWP and most recent Triennial Assessment to the course, or have a digital copy readily available.**

This course is intended to position CEs to meet the requirements of the Local Wellness Policy (LWP) through effective development, implementation, and evaluation processes.

Please Note: Course credit is only given to attendees who are present for a minimum of 85% of the course training.
