This is the fifth session of The Elementary Math Mini Series. Join us for one, two or as many of the sessions as you would like.
Fluency in multiplication extends beyond memorizing basic facts—it’s about reasoning flexibly and efficiently with larger numbers. In this interactive virtual professional development session, participants will explore strategies that leverage the commutative, associative, and distributive properties to compute multi-digit multiplication with ease. We will discover how flexible thinking helps students break apart complex problems, make connections, and choose efficient methods.
