Reasoning and Problem Solving in Measurement & Geometry: Beyond Procedures to Deep Understanding
Secondary Math

Many students approach geometry as a set of rules and formulas rather than a discipline grounded in reasoning and problem-solving. This session will focus on developing students’ geometric reasoning skills by emphasizing conjecture, proof, and problem-solving strategies. Participants will engage in hands-on activities that promote deep understanding and encourage mathematical thinking.
