The Librarian’s Toolbox: Summer PD Series
Start Your Own School Poets Society




This dynamic professional development series is designed to equip school librarians with a versatile toolbox of strategies, resources, and best practices to lead in today’s evolving educational landscape. Through engaging workshops, collaborative learning, and hands-on training, participants will explore topics such as digital literacy, inclusive library practices, emerging technologies, collection development, and instructional collaboration.


Important Session Information:


Poets Society participants will explore the ways poetry can serve as a tool for social connection, emotional healing, and personal reflection. Through collaborative writing activities and discussions, this session will demonstrate how poetry can be a powerful form of self-care and a bridge for building community in personal and professional contexts.

There are two price tiers for this event:

  1. Members of the Region 10 Library Services Package receive free registration.
  2. Other R10 and Out of Region librarians and teachers who are not members of the Region 10 Library Services Package pay $25.
