Devloping Emergent Readers and Writers in the ECSE Classroom

In this session, we will explore how to support our youngest learners' writing journey by integrating emergent reading and emergent writing into the ECSE classroom. We will discover how to grow students' writing abilities using developmentally appropriate strategies and activities, including the use of read-alouds during circle time to create class books for students to access in centers. This hands-on 'make and take' session will incorporate visuals and resources to help you create lessons for immediate implementation.
