Students with visual impairments and those who are deaf or hard of hearing face unique mental health challenges that are often overlooked in school settings. This engaging three-hour session will equip educators with the knowledge and strategies needed to recognize and address the social-emotional and mental health needs of these students. Participants will explore the impact of communication barriers, social isolation, and accessibility challenges on mental well-being.
