Practices Addressing the Needs of Distinct Student Populations




School psychologists have knowledge of individual differences, abilities, disabilities, and other unique characteristics that impact development and learning. They also understand principles and research related to differences in children, and among families, schools, and communities that share common attributes. School psychologists implement evidence-based strategies to enhance services in both general and special education to address the distinct needs of their student population.

Important Session Information:


In this session, participants will:
Gain an understanding of individual differences, abilities, disabilities, and other unique characteristics, and their impact on development and learning.
Learn about evidence-based strategies to enhance services in both general and special education settings
Enhance their ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with families, communities, and educational professionals.

These sessions are designed to cover material aligned to Domain 8 of the NASP Practice Model.

There are two price tiers for this event

1. Region 10 public local education agencies receive free registration. 2. Out of Region and/or Private/Non-Profit entities pay $125. Discounts will be reflected at checkout. If paying with a P.O., please send a copy of the P.O. to Heidy Carrillo at heidy.carrillo@region10.org
