Transition Fair for Deaf/Hard-of-hearing
January 2026




This event is designed for high school juniors and seniors who are deaf/hard of hearing (D/HH) and/or DeafBlind (DB).

This event will provide helpful resources as they explore and make important decisions, investigate options, and prepare to maneuver life after high school. Participants will learn about college and technical schools, independent living, personal finances, self-advocacy, community resources, and assistive technology specific to the D/HH/DB population.

This event is designed for high school juniors and seniors who are deaf/hard of hearing (D/HH) and deaf-blind (DB).

This event will provide helpful resources as they explore and make important decisions, investigate options, and prepare to maneuver life after high school. Participants will learn about college and technical schools, independent living, personal finances, self-advocacy, community resources, and assistive technology specific to the D/HH  and DB population. This event is free for high school students in Region 10, their parents, guardians, and professionals working with D/HH and DB students.

Please make plans to bring sign language interpreters from your RDSPD. Personal interpreters may be needed during the mock interviews and as students visit with event exhibitors.
