Trauma Informed Classroom and Educator Wellness




Building a Practice to Support Educator Wellness AND Trauma Informed Classroom!  Join us to become a trainer for Building a Practice to Support Educator Wellness AND Trauma informed Classrooms! After this training, you'll be able to take the Educator Wellness and Trauma Informed Classrooms program back to your district or campus and deliver the training to staff. This training also covers multiple state mandated learning requirements. Educator Wellness program! This training also covers multiple state mandated learning requirements.  TEC 38.036 states that each school district shall adopt and implement a policy requiring the integration of trauma-informed practices in each school environment. This policy must address using resources developed by the agency, methods for: increasing staff and parent awareness of trauma-informed care; and implementation of trauma-informed practices and care by district and campus staff; and available counseling options for students affected by trauma or grief. "Building a Practice to Support Educator Wellness & Trauma-Informed Classrooms & Campuses" expands on strategies and objectives from Project RESTORE. Texas ESCs are positioned to provide training, technical assistance and support to LEAs within their regions with this TOT mode.
