This course is ONLY for participants in the Region 10 alternative certification program.  Enrollment in the course will occur within 2 business days of registration.

Knowledge of the characteristics and needs of students with disabilities.  Understanding and application of formal and informal assessments and evaluation procedures knowledge of transition issues and procedures across the life span: philosphical, historical, and legal foundations of special education; professional roles, responsibilities, legal and ethical requirements; effective communication and collaboration and professional settings, methods and strategies for exceptional students.
