Collaborating for Student Success
Texas Workforce and Schools




Schools and community agencies must work together to provide transition services to secondary students with disabilities. This session will bring Texas Workforce Solutions Transition Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors, local educational agencies, and charter school transition-related personnel to the table; to communicate effectively to plan and deliver transition services that are collaborative, effective, and sustainable.

Dr. Pattie Noonan, from Kansas University, will keynote the session with strategies for interagency collaboration. This collaborative event is hosted by ESC Region 10 and 11. 

Important Session Information:


A collaboration with Texas Workforce, school districts, and charters to develop effective practices to enhance student success. This session will explore partnerships and initiatives aimed at preparing students for the future workforce; therefore, creating pathways for seamless transitions from school to career.
