Meal Production Records

The Child Nutrition Program provides technical assistance, training and resources to child and adult day cares and school districts in order to promote effective management of the federal funded nutrition programs. This is in accordance with United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) regulations.

Important Session Information:

This course will review the essentials of effective food program management, including TDA’s meal production record form for Contracting Entities (CEs). This vital tool ensures compliance with nutritional standards across different age groups while aiding in the accurate documentation of both reimbursable and non-reimbursable meals. Learn how to leverage
various food production records to enhance your food service operations, enabling precise tracking, forecasting, and planning for procurement, ordering, and compliance.

USDA Key Areas: 1000 – Nutrition and 2000 – Operations

Please Note: Course credit is only given to attendees who are present for a minimum of 85% of the course training.
