Dr. Lilli Nielsen conducted research on working with students who were blind and had additional disabilities that lead to her development of the Active Learning instructional approach. The book, "Are You Blind?," reviews some of the information she learned working with children with visual impairments and autism. During this session we will discuss her finding and how they can help us design programs and plan instructional activities for Active Learning Classrooms.
