Important Session Information:
The CTE Curriculum Leadership Academy is crafted to enhance the knowledge of CTE leaders and deepen their understanding of the profound impact curriculum has on CTE programs. This comprehensive overview will guide leaders in steering their programs through effective curriculum development and achieving targeted outcomes. Participants will learn how to execute collaborative plans by leveraging PLCs in CTE, identify and explain the role of effective assessments, and create meaningful CTE curricula. Emphasis will be placed on the principles of backward design as outlined in "Understanding by Design" by Jay McTighe and Grant Wiggins, ensuring leaders are equipped to drive educational success through strategic curriculum planning.
