This training developed by the Texas Complex Access Network (TX CAN) aligns with the TX CAN's Rubric of Effective Practices and addresses strategies applicable to one or more of the Rubric of Effective Practices Indicators. TX CAN created this training to support a standard of high-quality instruction for students with significant cognitive disabilities and to have educators consider the what adaptations may be necessary to support students with significant cognitive disabilities accessing the curriculum and educational environment. This session explores key themes from Quality Indicator V: Social Communication in the Rubric of Effective Practices for Students with Significant Cognitive Disabilities.
There are two price tiers for this event
1. Region 10 public local education agencies receive free registration.
2. Out of Region and/or Private/Non-Profit entities pay $100.
