Empowering Educational Leadership: Innovative Thinking and Strategies for Equipping Schools for Tomorrow’s Challenges.- Carl Hooker

This comprehensive full-day workshop is crafted for forward-thinking educational leaders committed to transforming their districts into innovation hubs. Whether you are at the beginning of your journey of innovation or looking to refine your current initiatives, this workshop will provide you with actionable strategies to prepare your institution for the future. Through interactive activities, you will be encouraged to think creatively and critically, challenge the status quo, and develop a continuous learning and improvement mindset. Throughout the day, participants will collaborate with peers to integrate the principles of innovation into their leadership practices, ensuring that they are equipped to drive meaningful change in their districts. The workshop ends with leaders solving the challenges of the future with a “problems of practice” activity.  By the end of this workshop, you will have a vision as well as a set of tools to lead your district toward becoming a beacon of innovation in education.

As the landscape of education rapidly evolves, this session will empower you with the insights, strategies, and tools needed to lead effectively in this new era. This workshop includes a deep dive into the practical applications of artificial intelligence (AI) within K-12 environments.
