This Social Studies professional learning opportunity will provide support with implementing the Social Studies TEKS, research-based instructional strategies focused on inquiry, historical thinking and future-ready learning and access to quality resources targeted to provide support for all grade levels.

In a time of rising polarization and tribalism, how can you overcome the noise and build a thriving culture of civic engagement in your classroom? Join Sphere Education Initiatives for this interactive workshop where we’ll engage pressing challenges, share practical resources for achieving your goals, and spend time practicing how to overcome these issues. Teachers will leave this session with both free, easy to use resources as well as the confidence to talk about even the most challenging issues in their classroom.
