Important Session Information:

White Cane Day

Students (infants accompanied by a parent through 22 years of age) are invited to come along with their O&M specialists and Teachers of Students with Visual Impairments to participate in a day of challenge and celebration of the white cane. Various opportunities will be available to learn the benefits of the white cane and to show off skills that students have learned. The cane skills that will be included in the challenge activity are: basic indoor cane techniques, residential cane skills, light business cane travel, and intersection crossings.
