Events related to the Evaluation and Instruction of Students with Visual Impairments

Important Session Information:


Identification of Hearing and Vision Loss in Children Age 0-3, 12:00-1:30pm

Join this virtual Lunch and Learn session to learn about characteristics of students that signal they might have a hearing loss or vision loss. You will learn why it is important to recognize these characteristics and seek further evaluation for possible services to be provided through special education services. Services provided through special education include a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) and/or a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH) to support ECI staff and parents.

There are two price tiers for this event:
1. Region 10 public local education agencies receive free registration. 
2. Out of Region and/or Private/Non-Profit entities pay $25.00.
