This learning opportunity will provide content and learning strategies to support educators serving Emerging Bilingual students in the English as a Second Language program (ESL).
Important Session Information:
The purpose of this session is to give teachers a deeper understanding and adequately prepare them to implement the components of sheltered instruction in their classrooms. The training will demonstrate strategies that make subject matter concepts comprehensible to English language learners while promoting the students' English language development. Using highly-engaging techniques, teachers will gain firsthand knowledge in making their content comprehensible to their ELs.
