MPR Basics




The Child Nutrition Program provides technical assistance, training and resources to child and adult day cares and school districts in order to promote effective management of the federal funded nutrition programs. This is in accordance with United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) regulations.

Meal Production Records

How can you prove meals prepared meet CACFP Meal Pattern Requirements?  -- The Meal Production Record. This hybrid training will cover the purpose and the function of the meal production record, the supporting materials needed to complete a meal production record and the information required to be documented in a meal production record. Participants will also learn how to determine amount of grains to prepare based on ounce equivalents; a new requirement. By the end of the session participants will know the Proof of the Matter.


This is a hybrid training; meaning  attendees can register to participate either virtually via zoom or in-person.  The registration is separate for each one -- in-person or virtual.
